WSP is looking for a Principal Engineer who will produce engineering design solutions, models, reports and obtain authority approvals for single and multi-disciplinary design projects.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the technical management & delivery of infrastructure projects.
• Manage the design of multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Develop programmes and manage the delivery of submissions.
• Co-ordinate right of way cross sections for all utilities.
• Review and produce reports, drawings, calculations and presentations.
• Foster good relationships with local authorities.
• Present to clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to bids and resourcing estimates.
• Develop the capabilities of the engineers and senior engineers in the team.
• Travel to GCC countries for meetings with clients and authorities presenting design solutions and proposals.
Requirements:
• BEng /BSc (Hon) or equivalent discipline with minimum 10 years post graduate experience
• Chartered Member of associated Professional body membership
• Design expertise in power distribution design, street lighting and telecommunications networks associate with infrastructure design projects including highways, masterplans and plot connections.
• Proficient in system studies software such as ETAP and street lighting software packages such as Dialux.
• Good report writing skills.
• Managing delivery, program and budget for design packages and projects.
• Must be an arabic speaker.
